The Invitation

So many women have spent years taking care of everyone but themselves.

You know how to give. How to anticipate. How to manage, soothe, and hold it all together. Somewhere along the way, your own pleasure became the thing that could wait.

This work is an invitation to stop waiting.

I'm Court Vox, a Somatic Sex & Intimacy Coach and Surrogate Partner based in Los Angeles. For years I have worked with women privately and in retreat spaces, including as a core member of the facilitation team at Back to the Body, an acclaimed experiential program for women focused on embodiment, pleasure, and self connection.

Together we explore your relationship with desire, with receiving, and with your own body. Not as ideas to understand, but as experiences to have.

Why women come to this work

There is no single story, but there are familiar ones.

Some women come because desire has gone quiet and they want to find it again. Some have spent a lifetime performing pleasure and want to know what it feels like to actually receive. Some are navigating a major transition: the end of a relationship, motherhood, menopause, a body that has changed. Some have never felt at home in their bodies at all. And some simply know there is more available to them and are ready to go looking for it.

Wherever you begin, you do not need to arrive with the right words. The body speaks first in this work. We listen.

How we work
This is not talk therapy. It is not a workshop. It is practice.

Sessions weave together conversation, somatic practice, breath, movement, embodiment, and, where appropriate and always with your consent, touch. The work is somatic, trauma informed, and client led. You set the pace. You hold the choice. Nothing happens without your yes.

We might practice asking for what you want and noticing what rises when you do. Receiving without keeping score. Setting a boundary and staying connected. Being seen without performing. Staying present with sensation instead of leaving your body.

These are skills. They can be learned. And the learning itself can be a pleasure.

Surrogate Partner Therapy

Some things cannot be learned by talking about them.

A structured, therapeutic path for practicing the building blocks of relationship: communication, trust, physical closeness, and intimacy.

For some women, the most powerful path is surrogate partner therapy. I am trained through IPSA (the International Professional Surrogates Association) and work in collaboration with your licensed therapist in a therapeutic triad, at a pace your own nervous system sets.

In community

Some things change fastest in the company of other women.

As a core team member of Back to the Body, I co-facilitate retreat experiences where women explore pleasure, embodiment, and desire in a held, intentional container. Next: Fall Portal, a Back to the Body retreat, September 24 to 27, 2026, in the Southern California high desert.

Questions women often ask

Before you begin.

Is this therapy?

No. I am a certified coach and somatic sex educator, not a licensed therapist. Many clients work with me alongside a therapist, and in surrogate partner therapy that collaboration is built into the structure of the work.

Do I need to have a partner?

No. Most of the women I work with come on their own. This work is about your relationship with yourself first; everything else grows from there.

What actually happens in a session?

It depends on you. Some sessions are entirely conversation. Others involve breath, movement, embodiment practice, or structured touch. Every element is explained beforehand, entered by choice, and adjustable at any moment.

Is this in person?

Yes. My work is in person, at least at first. Following immersions, I will often coach clients virtually in between in person sessions. What makes this work unique, though, is the in person work itself.

What if I don't know what I want yet?

That is a wonderful place to begin. Curiosity is enough.

Begin

The first step is a conversation.

We'll talk about where you are, what you are drawn toward, and whether this work is the right fit. No pressure, no obligation.
